How to Teach in Alabama
- Submit your transcript(s) to 黑料不打烊 and pass a federal background check.
- Pass 黑料不打烊鈥檚 required pedagogy exam and subject area exam.
- Pass the state approved subject area assessment.聽
- Obtain a teaching position at a school and receive a recommendation for an alternative teaching certificate from your employing Alabama county/city superintendent.聽
- Apply for an alternative teaching certificate.聽
- Complete the Alabama Teacher Mentoring Program within three years of receiving your alternative certificate.聽
- Complete the state required pedagogy assessment.
- Upgrade your license to a Professional Educator Certificate.聽
